Community Development/Fire Safety/Fighting Fraud

NIC takes a leadership role in promoting traffic safety through its participation as a member of the Safe Community Partnership organization, and other community health and safety programs. As a sponsoring member of the Nevada Fire Council, NIC actively supports the “Living with Fire” Program. We also work closely with the Nevada Attorney General’s Office and other organizations to combat insurance fraud in the state of Nevada.

Speakers Bureau

The Nevada Insurance Council provides free, qualified speakers on a wide range of topics to groups such as high schools, business and service clubs, professional driving schools, city councils, trade schools and universities. To schedule a speaker, contact us.

NIC does not take positions on legislation, but it provides information about insurance issues to Nevada’s lawmakers and voters.
